Pink Dandelion (Taraxacum pseudoroseum)

Why grow yellow when you can grow pink! Dandelions are an incredible powerhouse of healing and nourishment, for the bees and humans alike.

Perennial plants flowering over the cooler months, they will delight in colour whether its growing in a pot or in the ground, when very little else is flowering.

Elegant pale pink petals, surround a golden centre calling all the bees. The colour deepens as it opens.

As an edible, the whole plant can be used, the leaves are less bitter than regular dandelions which is a bonus.

Although they do spread the same as regular dandelions, I find them a welcome plant. Where they are not wanted, they are easily removed. Having a few growing, they are easy to deadhead regularly.

The plant is very well loved by pollinators.

Growing: Sow seeds in early autumn. They do self seed if left to dry naturally so dead head regularly.
