Giant Green Cambodian Eggplant
Rare Limited Heirloom Open-pollinated
Strikingly attractive with tiger like white streaks on the base of these beautiful green eggplants. Green eggplants, similar to white eggplants, are creamy and mild with no bitterness.
GGC is very generous and crops heavily, giving so much bounty excellent for vegetable curries, eggplant steaks, or roasted with honey, garlic, rosemary and a chilli spice which can be used in salads, as a side dish or I simply snack on them straight out the airfryer and don't leave any for others ;)
Sowing: Eggplant seeds benefit from bottom heat and germinate quickly in warm soil. Start seeds late winter to early spring in trays with moisture retentive, well-draining soil and keep damp not wet. Cover seeds with 5mm of soil. Cover seed trays to hold the humidity and warmth in. Germination occurs at 24-29C. Remove cover once sprouts are up.
Quantity: 15 seeds
