Heirloom Trending Open-pollinated Organic

A true blue flower creating whimsy in the garden with spiky spheres on tall stems. Once the balls turn blue, they can be picked for dry flower arranging or if left on the plant, tiny flowers will emerge from each spike and are much loved by the pollinators.

I take the dried heads and scatter seeds in pots and always get new seedlings to spread around the garden or to gift to friends.

Hardy, full-sun plants coping well in drier weather and need little attention.

Sowing: Sow seeds directly when soil temps are above 20C.

Seed can be sown in Spring, Summer and Autumn. Cover lightly, 2mm, as they need light to germinate.

Growing: Perennial plants returning each Spring, reaching a height of 1m. They prefer a sunny location and are drought and frost tolerant.

Quantity: 25 seeds
