Orange Accordian
Heirloom Trending Limited Organic Open-pollinated
Giant, deeply pleated, tangerine orange fruits are a sight to see. Everyone can't help but comment on these unusual tomatoes. They are a conversation piece!
The thick walled flesh is sweet and juicy, few seeds and when cut in half presents as a ruffled flower shape. They are easily hollowed out, making them perfect for stuffing. Deliciously sweet and tangy, the flavours intensify when roasted, but equally good for fresh eating. You only need one slice to cover a sandwich, but you'll find yourself eating the remainder as a fruit. Orange tomatoes are always rich in flavour, but orange accordian is a cut above the rest.
An added bonus is their long shelf life. They will happily stay on the countertop for a month without getting overripe.
