How I love this little micro basil! It's possibly my favourite plant. It stays perfectly compact and bushy and the best part is that no chopping is required when topping those delicious summer tomato on toasted sourdough breakfasts and lunch. The flavour is exactly the same as sweet basil and it makes an elegant little sprig to add finesse when serving tomato or pasta dishes instead of big leaves or chopped basil.

It looks so sweet in a little terracotta pot. I always sow an extra pot to keep in my kitchen for convenience. I also sow extras to give as gifts.

Growing: Plant height bushy 15-20cm

Sow seeds in early spring under cover or direct sow when the soil has warmed up.
