Snail Vine/ Corkscrew Vine (Cochliasanthus caracella)

R 80,00Price
Quantity

This perennial climber delights with wafting fragrance from unusual curly, pale cream corkscrew blooms edged with pink, lilac and yellow.

It is so unusual and will be a big attraction in the garden. Perfect growing over a pergola or trellis near a seating area to enjoy the delicate scent and elicit conversation.

The snail vine is a relative of the pea and produces pods after flowering in mid summer to late autumn. They are tropical plants and enjoy regular watering, but are easy once established, growing very quickly and appreciative of a light prune regularly to encourage fresh growth and flowering.

Growing: Sow seeds in early spring. A heat mat will aid germination or place tray in a warm spot. Plant in full sun to part shade. Keep well watered. A perennial in warmer climates.

Quantity: 8 seeds
