Russ Crowe's famous RSFP is one of the ultimate tomatoes for shape, beauty, earliness and flavour and then Starfighter VT16 arrives...the GWR (green when ripe) version. Shooting star streaks of purple fly across a heavenly green backdrop. They catch me every season being GWR. They ripen so early, one of the first large tomatoes, and you have to feel when they are ripe... a tiny little give when gently pressed.

The flavour is bright, zesty and sweet. So fresh!
