True Colours
Rare Exclusive Trending Organic Open-pollinated
My love, my love! My first Karen Olivier tomato and forever in my heart. Taiga, its sister tomato ( both from crossing Ludmilla's pink heart x Captain Lucky) is better known and more popular, but I think everyone is missing out not growing both of these exquisitely beautiful, outstandingly delectable tomatoes.
HUGE heart shaped tomatoes with a blunt pointy end, the colour is hard to describe...glossy, thin skin is greenish with a pink wash with the tip brightening to red as it ripens. The cut reveal is where the true magic lies. Tri colour flesh with a bleeding streak in the centre, a showstopper! But it gets better! The flesh is so sweet ...if you close your eyes you'll be convinced you're eating a fruit. Tropical, pineapple/mango/lime. It feels like a desecration cooking them but honestly it just levels up!
A huge bonus as if you needed another, is it has exceptionally high yield and is one of the first to fruit every year. Winner winner!
